I'm Writing this on the ferry to Dartmouth...
Jeff took me to the airport and I managed to carry the bike box and my bags to the ferry. I had hoped to get in an earlier flight by being bumped but there was no offer. When I inquired, I was told it was $150 to change. So I had time to kill... I decided to visit my friend Angela but she was taking a nap and didn't get my call. I went to MEC to just look around. When I saw some bike stuff, I realized I forgot the device that holds my iPhone on the stem! So I decided to go home and get it. I had time.
But the streetcars short turning and being slow made it interesting!
I finally got home and also remembered my soft sunglasses case.
I was also able to give my friend Mark's mom a gift before grabbing my bus. I figured the streetcars were a mess.
Finishing this post at camp before bed... Midnight-ish.
I had to wait for the bus and decided perhaps it would be safer to take the streetcar. It was a good decision as I got there with plenty of time to have free pop.
When the delayed flight finally boarded and I got my seat, the guy I was sitting next to asked if I would switch seats with his friend. I said sure but he suggested waiting till things cleared since we were up at the front. In the end, his friend brought his seat mate to sit with me. Barbara was great company and we spoke about lots of different things throughout the flight. She was a great seat mate! I was glad those guys wanted to sit together!
Although the I thought I had my phone in airplane mode, I was shocked when way up high in the sky I got Eleanor's text. I quickly put my phone in airplane mode and let her know I arrived. She picked my up and we were off to her place. But not before accidentally setting off her car alarm.
When we got to her place she made breakfast and we did some catching up. Overall a great and eventful day!
